Kiwanis donate books to East Elementary

The Kiwanis Club of Steubenville recently donated books on African-American heroes to their adopted school, East Elementary in Steubenville. The donation was made in honor of Black History Month.

On hand for the presentation were Anita Jackson, club president; Larry Coleman, club member; Jason Kernahan, member; Tom Timmons, secretary-treasurer; Christine Ballato, reading and math facilitator for East Elementary School; Vicki Littlejohn, dean of students; David Henderson, club member; Phyllis Riccadonna, lieutenant governor-elect for District 21 and club member; and William Croskey, club board member.
