| Veteran's Wall Vandalized With "Kill Them All" Posted: 29 Jan 2011 06:18 PM PST JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A tribute to fallen American heroes from the First Coast was vandalized sometime over the past few days, and was discovered on Friday evening. A Jacksonville Sheriff's Office police report said an EverBank Field Security guard noticed the graffiti Friday on the Veteran's Memorial Wall in downtown Jacksonville. The report said someone etched the phrase "Kill Them All" on the concrete in front of the marble wall. JSO said it appeared the damage was done with a rock. The report indicated the surface of the marble wall was also scratched, causing $500 in damage. A First Coast News crew visited the scene Saturday and noted that the writing on the concrete was buffed away somewhat but still visible. Large scratches on the marble wall are also visible.
